One of life’s most significant challenges and opportunities is cultivating the courage to listen to your heart and be true to yourself. Guided by the inspired wisdom of Octavia Raheem—author, restorative yoga educator, and rest coach—this course will explore what it means to make choices rooted in a commitment to honoring ourselves—even if it means defying expectations we’ve been taught to uphold to fit in, succeed, or feel safe.

This course is intended for anyone seeking to embrace and express their most authentic self, but particularly those meant to serve a transformative role in service to others who often feel like they don't 'fit in'. Over the course of four weeks, we will engage in active sharing, inquiry, and reflection based on the following ‘heroic’ themes:

WEEK 1: THE RECKONING
Participants will gain clarity about the influences and expectations that hinder our sense of freedom and ability to honor our true selves.

WEEK 2: THE REMEMBRANCE
Participants will practice reconnecting with their true, authentic selves and reflect on its benefits.

WEEK 3: THE RETURN
Participants will practice tuning into their inner voice for guidance and as a basis for honoring genuine wants/needs/what calls to them.

WEEK 4: THE RECLAMATION
Participants will gain additional clarity and confidence needed to make choices that are aligned with who they really are and their inner wisdom.
