An interfaith exploration of practicing mindfulness to refresh and enliven your soul in the face of today's challenges.

Greening transcends generations, geography and traditions to describe the Divine or, in Buddhist terms, ..."the dynamic force that underlies everything."

Join Rev. Eileen Mahoney for a 4-part series on Greening the Soul.
"Zen and the Art of Saving the Planet," by Thich Nhat Hanh will frame our exploration of his teachings related to saving ourselves and the planet. His teachings connect us not only to our beautiful green earth, but also to the freshness, the aliveness of our own "green" souls.

In this workshop, you’ll:

  • Develop a clear knowledge of fundamental Zen Buddhist teachings

  • Learn about Thich Nhat Hanh, his role in peace initiatives, and worldwide spiritual leadership

  • Understand how Thich Nhat Hanh's teaching and practice cultivate healing to refresh, and reinvigorate our green energy

  • Participate in Buddhist practices of Mindfulness and Presence that bring peace, compassion, and insight

  • Gain new perspectives and practices for your own healing, and those with whom you work
