Come to The Gathering on Thursday, May 28th at 7PM ET, for a light-hearted evening focused on Gratitude and Sparking Joy!
Rev. Nic Bullitt, Rev. Jen Bailey, and Rev. Yvonne Lucia will co-facilitate this inspirational evening of prayer and reflection.
Rev. Nic Bullitt
Rev. Nic Bullitt is the Engagement Catalyst at One Spirit. As a community-builder, and communications liaison, she helps to foster relationships that have been formed year-over-year among our graduates, current students, faculty, and those who are just discovering One Spirit. Nic holds an MBA from Fordham University in Marketing and Management, is a certified yoga instructor, and an ordained minister with the University of Metaphysics. She is passionate about spirituality, personal growth and development, and especially the “Ah-ha!” moments that expand our perspectives.
Rev. Jen Bailey
Rev. Jennifer Bailey (Dean) was ordained as an interfaith/interspiritual Minister at One Spirit in 2016. Jennifer's vocation is through a combination of art making and spiritual care, particularly around issues of grief and loss. An experienced group facilitator, she has had the privilege of creating diverse groups and arts programs for senior centers; and coordinated a safe housing program for human trafficking survivors. At Center for Urban Community Services, Jennifer provides therapeutic arts and chaplaincy in supportive housing facilities for adults, some who have been formerly homeless, many with persistent mental illness and substance abuse challenges. For several years she served as an emergency room crisis counselor for rape and domestic violence survivors at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is currently training to be a disaster spiritual care worker for the Red Cross. She is very drawn to the paths of Buddhism and nature-based spirituality, with art making as one of her primary spiritual practices. Jennifer was ordained as an Interfaith/Interspiritual minister in 2016 through One Spirit Seminary. She holds a BachelorÕs of Fine Arts in Fine Arts and Toy Design from F.I.T. and has studied anthropology, international relations and religion at CUNY Hunter College.
Yvonne Lucia, RN, MDiv (Dean) is an Interspiritual Counselor and Soul Companion. Her background in healing, spirituality and the arts make her uniquely qualified to accompany others who desire to embark on a journey of self-awareness, introspection, reflection, and emotional and spiritual evolution. In addition to her academic credentials she has certifications in pastoral ministry, spiritual direction, expressive arts, creative grief support and grief counseling, Labyrinth Facilitation and SMARTRecovery, and a Certificate in Interspiritual Counseling from One Spirit Learning Alliance. Yvonne is passionate about the transformational potential of every person's inborn creativity across the spectrum of living, loving, experiencing loss, and leaning forward wholeheartedly.
